Classes

My classes focus primarily on asanas (postures). I pay especial attention to alignment of the body and awarenes of the breath to develop strentgh and flexibility. The practice of asanas helps you experience the mind-body connection and as you nurture this connection you will start to see the mental, emotional and spiritual benefits of practising yoga.

Beginners Level. These are classes for people new to yoga or with little experience. We will work gently and the basic postures will be introduced

General Level. These are classes for people with at least one year experience. Pranayama and meditation will also be practised at this level.

Intermediate Level. These are classes for people with at least 2 years experience and who want to take a more challenging class. Pranayam and meditation will also be practised at this level.

What to wear

You can wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. Bring a warm top or small blanket for relaxation at the end of the class. Yoga is practised in bare feet.

What to bring

The equipment is provided, but feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer. It is also useful to bring a blanket.

Others

It is not advisable to have a heavy meal for 2-3 hrs before a class.
